30 Hours Free Childcare for 3 and 4 Year Olds:

This is a new entitlement for working parents of 3 and 4 year old children which will be introduced in September 2017. This is an additional 15 hours per week entitlement in addition to the child’s existing 15 hour free early education place. This new entitlement of 30 hours free childcare can be offered term time only (over 38 weeks) or can be stretched across the whole year to meet parental needs.  Windhill21 will be working closely with Early Birds and Night Owls Out of School Care Club and Appletree Pre-School (both of which operate from the school site) to offer this new entitlement for parents.  For further details and to find out if you may be eligible for these hours, please click here - 30 Hours Free Childcare

We have two nursery classes at Windhill21 – morning and afternoon. The session times for each class are as follows:

Morning - 8.30am until 11.30am

Afternoon - 12.30pm until 3.30pm.

Each nursery class has places for 26 children.

Windhill21 has one intake into its nursery classes which is the September following a child’s third birthday. Entry into the nursery class in September 2018 will be for those children born between

1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015.

Allocation of a Nursery place is strictly subject to the applicant’s guarantee that the first 15 hours of Free Childcare Funding will be directed to this school.  This guarantee should be made on the Parent Declaration Form (available on our website).  Details of the admission policy can be found by clicking the link below:
