Learning for the 21st Century

Windhill School Association

We have an established School Association (WSA), which will organise events throughout the school year to raise funds for the benefit of the school and pupils. These events are aimed at having fun within the community and also help to raise the profile of the school.

The key aims of the WSA are to advance the education of pupils in the school, in particular, by:

  • developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school, and
  • engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Other ways to get involved:

Parents and carers are also encouraged to contribute by sharing ideas, becoming governors or volunteering specific skills. Look out for further details in our newsletters and flyers as to how you can become more involved.

We follow a standard constitution model from Parent Kind (Previously PTA-UK) of which we are a member.  If you would like more information on what PTA's do and how you can get involved go to thier website and set up an account using our membership number: 20501

Another way to get involved without costing you a penny is to sign up to The Giving Machine.

TheGivingMachine is a not for profit social enterprise whose sole aim is to raise money for UK schools and charities. Shopping online via TheGivingMachine at your favourite shops will generate a free cash donation with every single purchase. With stores like Amazon, Ebay, M&S, NEXT, Tesco, Sainsbury and John Lewis taking part with hundreds more, you are bound to find what you want from your favourite shops at TheGivingMachine.

Please join our giving community by visiting and join to support our school, they only require your name, e-mail address and a password for you to become a Giver.
It really is as simple as that. Please ensure you don’t miss this opportunity to give while you are shopping and help spread the word to raise as much as we can from this amazing scheme. Your help will make a difference to our school.

In addition the school gets commission on sales of name labels from Labelplanet.  Click the link to be taken to their website. Our school number is 35597.
