Welcome to Windhill21 and thank you for visiting our school website.  We hope it provides you with a clear understanding of our school life and community. Windhill21 is a welcoming two-form entry primary school situated in the thriving town of Bishop’s Stortford.  We take pride in fostering knowledgeable learners who are engaged, demonstrate our pillars and values, and strive for excellence. Our exceptional practices and systems support all children to be successful and confident pupils; Windhill21 is truly a remarkable place to learn!

Curriculum design and high-quality teaching are at the core of our school.  Our carefully sequenced and progressive curriculum, through global themes, helps our children understand the world, think critically about deeper issues, and develop an awareness of the impact of their actions on others. We maintain high expectations for all our pupils, creating experiences that help them become confident, global citizens.

Partnership with parents and carers is central to everything that we do.  As key educators in your children’s lives, your voice is important to us. Our team is approachable, encouraging you to share your thoughts. Through regular communication, parental engagement workshops, parent network meetings, community cafés, and celebration events, we build strong and open relationships.
