Nursery Chargeable Extras and Funded Entitlement Information
Windhill21 Nursery offers funded early education places in line with government entitlement guidance. The information below sets out how funded hours can be taken and details of any chargeable extras, to ensure parents and carers can make an informed choice.
Funded Entitlement
All children attending the nursery are required to attend a minimum of 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions per week, which are fully funded through the universal 15-hour nursery entitlement. This funding is available to all children.
Parents and carers who require all-day provision may do so by adding additional sessions. These additional sessions can be paid for directly or, where eligible, covered using childcare support funding for working parents

Allocation of Places and Funding
Allocation of a Nursery place is strictly subject to the applicant’s guarantee that the first 15 hours of free childcare funding will be directed to this school. This guarantee should be confirmed on the Nursery Parent Declaration Form. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place.
In the event of more applications than available places, the Governing Body will maintain a continuing interest list (waiting list). Applications received after the deadline will also be placed on this waiting list. If a place becomes available, it will be offered to the child who best meets the published admission rules at the earliest opportunity.
